The Caddie Shack
The Caddie: That person who heads up and sets the rules for the accountable relationship.
The Player: That person who listens and respects the rules in the accountable relationship.
In the Book of Deuteronomy, we read, "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave-you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” In the Book of Isaiah we read, "I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron." The caddie in your life must go before you to "make your path straight." The caddie in your life does not go before you physically—but spiritually. Seek out someone who displays wisdom—not knowledge—and life experience. You might want to even choose someone who doesn't measure up to you in class or intellect.

Brothers, Out on the course, a forecaddie's job is to go before the golfer when trouble looms ahead, particularly on a blind shot. The forecaddie becomes the target for the golfer. The forecaddie aligns the player in such a way that signals the safe direction to hit the ball.

Friends, As with most clubs, I’m just a position. In the old days. Some have referred to me as the third member of God & Son. At one time I was referred to as the “greenskeeper,” but I do far more than that. No one ever sees me, but you know I’m there by the condition of the course.

A Community Development Initiative of The Country Club of Life
VISION - To inspire then develop potential young urban entrepreneurs through collaboration with suburban executives and mentoring acquired through this initiative.
MISSION - To witness these youths emerge as vibrant contributors to society as they enter commerce grounded in vocational, financial, ethical, and moral accountabilities.
The purpose of The Dennie Welsh Business & Ethics Urban/Suburban Initiative is dedication to the educational and vocational growth of at-risk children, and inspiring through promoting highly ethical living and excellence. This initiative will target high-risk children in the county initially. Some of the initiative’s components include life coaching for youth in the areas of skill development, financial basics, business basics, business development and reaching out to others who are where they were.
This initiative’s design combines the knowledge and skills of suburbia with the rigorous faith and personal transparency of the urban community. It brings Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc. to a culture that may never see their state college. In essence, it’s about rigorous honesty combined with abandoned faith leading to a virtual degree earned from the University of The Have-Nots from which suburbia could benefit from attending a semester or two. Together these develop a unity of cultural collaboration which develops a complete people lacking in nothing. We build upon the discipline, ethics, and excellence in Dennie Welsh’s life and upon the philosophy most high-risk families experience in parallel in the lives of suburbia, i.e., seeing one another as one, with (while not identical) multiple and interrelated life challenges. These multifaceted challenges require a comprehensive approach of excellence that recognizes and, most importantly, identifies with “haves versus have nots” lives.
The Kitchen Table
At one time, the kitchen table was the gathering place for family and friends. The kitchen table was where homework was done, cooking was learned, discussions were held, and it was the place where
"the learnin" took place. In most homes today, the kitchen table has been replaced by a fast food island where we grab something quick and run from task to task through our microwaveable lives, yet never
seem to get it all done.
At The Kitchen Table, life's basics are communicated in terms usually related to the youth's area of giftedness. Coaching these youth by relating their God-given gifts to their giftedness allows them to visualize "their" life goals and dreams. Relating to life using sports analogies to life's challenges trains them to "respond" in a way they can relate to the challenges life will send them. Our motto, "If You Do What Most Won't – You Will Enjoy What Most Never Will" is especially valuable since learning to take
responsibility and play life on life&'s terms, straight down the middle without excuses, cheating, or mastering spin, will give them the winning edge in the game of life.

Responding to the Changing Landscape
In a historic and far-reaching decision last year, the U.S. Supreme Court officially reversed Roe v. Wade, declaring that the constitutional right to abortion, upheld for nearly a half-century, no longer exists. Writing for the court majority, Justice Samuel Alito said that the 1973 Roe ruling and repeated subsequent high court decisions reaffirming Roe "must be overruled because they were egregiously wrong, the arguments exceptionally weak and so damaging that they amounted to an abuse of judicial authority.” This decision will mean that the court itself, as well as the abortion question, will become a very large focal point in the upcoming presidential election.

The Country Club of Life is registered with the United States Golf Association, USGA, and the Metropolitan Golf Association, MGA, as a “Club Without Real Estate," joining a community of more than 130,000 golf enthusiasts in the greater New York, New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut regions. The Metropolitan Golf Association is one of the largest and oldest golf associations in the country and an Allied Golf Association of the USGA.” In this capacity, we are also registered in the USGA’s directory along with clubs throughout the U.S. The United States Golf Association, USGA, is an organization of 8,000 clubs, courses, and qualified practice facilities serving all golfers as the national governing body for the game. To be eligible for membership in these two prestigious associations, the club, course, or qualified practice facility must fit into one of three distinct categories: Golf Course, Club Without Real Estate, or Training Facility. New members must also agree to the provisions of the USGA and MGA’s by-laws.

How can golf be a ministry?
This is the most asked question we get. We typically insert a bit of humor, saying, "The name of Jesus Christ is used more on most golf courses than in many churches today". While humourous, it's unfortunately true in too many situations. Golf is a game where you call infractions on yourself. It's a game requiring rigorous honesty. It's a game that humbles the most powerful among us. Golf is actually played very Biblically. In fact, if life were played similarly, we would live in heaven on earth.

Will your training help me if I'm not a golfer?
Absolutely! We have worked with many non-golfers over the years. Top golfers, other athletes, and other sports fail to achieve maximum success not because they lack ability and giftedness but because something is their person or their life needs work.
Is there a Youth Program?
Yes. We have collaborated with several youth training resources along with our two creations. We insist on commitment with all we train–particularly our youth.
You say you are different from other coaching organizations. What is it that makes you different?
We believe that "in the burn"; in will come the learn'in". Unfortunately, too few people stick to the task. During the coaching process, the student MUST identify with rigorous honesty those "Temporal/Worldly Substances", "Strongholds", or "Dependencies" that fill the separation BETWEEN God and themselves that they tend to turn to when life gangs up on them. Then, they MUST get accountable and surrender. Our coaching shapes the "Whole" person (Physically, Emotionally, Spiritually, Intellectually, Financially, and Socially) so that they "May be a COMPLETE person lacking in NOTHING" as the bible states.
What is The KNOW Sin Zone?
The purpose of The KNOW Sin Zone is to narrow the separation between God and our humanity by identifying and admitting the innate strongholds and temporal substances keeping us separated from God. Our training aims to S.H.A.P.E. (1) Spiritual Reflexes into the lives of those we train, turning them into God-conscious Human "Beings", content and confident in their skin and whose "Attitudes" match their God-given "Abilities". Joy-filled people who accept life on life's terms and play the game of life with a winning rhythm. These people have "Found Their Games" and chosen to serve God with a purpose, overcoming the desire to play life and attempting to "Have It All".

Virtual Golf
DISCLAIMER: We use the great game of golf to support our coaching. Why? Golf is played exactly the way the game of life should be played. Golf is played with rigorous honesty, and the golfer calls it on themselves when there's an infraction. Our coaching demands playing life straight down the middle and flirting with the out-of-bounds lines is prohibited. Our coaching platform has been named "The Country Club of Life" and will improve the lives of golfers and non-golfers alike if our students commit to doing the things most won't.
The Country Club of Life (here-in-after referred to as CC of Life) is a virtual life coaching and training system. It is holistic training bent on developing the "Whole" person. The system is a Tried, Proven, and Custom-developed testing into our students' lives', Physically, Emotionally, Spiritually, Intellectually, Financially, and Socially. Our coaching techniques and methods are rooted in the belief in Intelligent Design. Why? With over 30 years of clinical observation, trial, and research, we have observed that determining "Whose" we are will be critical to eventually discovering "Who" we are – and accepting the limitations of our discovery. "Who" we are and being anything, one makes our minds to be are typically the goals of most coaching techniques. Our research, trials, and findings strongly rebuke that approach. Only by determining where we came from can we determine where we're going. We can develop a successful, focused, workable, and closely monitored game plan for our students through the acceptance of our character defects and limitations. We do not reject or attempt to change contrarians' findings and opinions. We operate solely from a position of attraction - not promotion or opposition.
